I was struggling with inflammation, failing to lose weight, and deciding which “diet” was right. I was never able to keep on track with diet plans, let alone workout programs. I hesitated to join because of many past failed attempts.

Oddly enough I decided to do KIO because of the cost. I thought of it as an investment in my health, not a diet plan, which was the first mindset shift of many to come.

In my situation, losing weight would be a bonus, my focus was to naturally reduce the inflammation that I deal with and build healthier habits.

My experience with the program surprised me. As the weeks went on, I realized that I was focused less on diet habits such as deprivation and more on how foods made me feel or react with my body, stress levels, and sleep habits.

Then I realized I loved (and really needed) the mindset work. Changing how I look at myself, celebrating wins, and giving myself grace when needed - all added up to being stronger coming out of the program than when I went in.
